I joined Linköping University in 1997. Previous to that, I received my Licentiate degree (a Swedish research degree) in 1990 (Management control and information management) and Ph.D. at the Stockholm School of Economics in 1996 (Organising and Information management), where I had worked as Lecturer since 1983.
In the 1980s, I also consulted as Systems analyst and Systems developer. During the 1990s the major part of my teaching efforts at the Stockholm School of Economics was directed at Executive Education and the development of the Integration and Change part of the Executive MBA program. 1997 was spent as Project manager at the Ministry of Culture for a review of the organisation of the state-funded cultural organisations, and in 1999 I was a member of the Design Committee.
From the turn of the millennium, my consulting tends to deal with organising, strategy – and digitisation.
